IRWIN 2051100 9-in-1 Multi-Tool Screwdriver

solid and comfortable (4-in-1 not 9-in-1)
I got this as a filler item to get free shipping so in reality it only cost me $2. That having been said, in my humble opinion, no matter how light and flexible power drills get, you can never replace a good solid screwdriver. This one has a nice and thick rubberized handle which makes it comfortable to grip, and gives you a good amount of torque. I have owned a few Irwin tools before and have found them to last long enough to justify paying a bit extra for them. The bits seem solid and look like they will last a while. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile home screwdriver. The only complaint is the 9 in 1 title, the screwdriver comes with 4 bits, so I would call it a 4 in 1.Good Basic Tool to Have
Here is one tool that everyone needs at one time or another. It has nine different heads included here. Remember when you'd have to grab the Phillips head and regular screwdriver or other various types? Well this multi Screwdriver has them all inside! You just pull off the one head, turn it over and you have a different type or size. Need a different one, then you pull out the whole piece and there is another, turn that around and there is another. Yes, I know it sounds confusing, but it's almost like a magic act how Irwin put this together.....and it works! The one issue I've run into is that at times when my hands are sweaty it's difficult to pull out some of the parts. When that happens I'll just use a cloth or such to get a grip. The other thing is I like how how this feels in your hand. It's a good weighed rubber grip.Great Tool But Overpriced By Amazon
Although made in China, this is a well made, heavy duty and versatile tool. It can be used for driving both screws and nuts. The pin lock bits and hex holders enhances its heavy duty usage. But bits with pin locks are hard to find when replacements are needed. You may have to fall back on ordinary bits. The tool is well balanced, but those with smaller hands may find the large rubberized handle uncomfortable. For their listing the Amazon price of $10.76, before shipping, is well above list price. However, with free shipping it is lower than that of other online sellers. You may save a couple of dollars if you can find it locally. Under its HUSKY brand, Home Depot sells a somewhat similar heavy duty multi-tool with a considerable savings over the Irwin. It also uses pin lock bits. However, it is not quite as well made or as versatile as the Irwin.Good tool for entire family.
It seems like that the need for a screw driver is always a long distance from where the screw drivers are stored. I also have the problem of so many storage locations that I lose track of where the tools are. This screw drive offers various bits and takes up very little space and is well made. It does not hurt that Irwin Tool headquarters is in my home town. I only wish had bought several more so that I have would have one in each of my favorite tool locations. I will buy more of this tool and Irwin tools.Works fine

These bits are fantastic
WOW these bits are the best I have used in years. All of my old bits were dull. I put one of the new bits in my cordless drill and ..... DRILLED A 1/4 INCH HOLE IN MY MIDDLE FINGER ON MY LEFR HAND, IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE BONE I WOULD HAVE GONE STRAIGHT THRU MY NAIL.... My Dad always said " Son if you are going to be STUPID you better be tough." KWFather's Day Gift
I wasn't sure if this was a good gift for Dad for Father's Day but mine loved them, turned out to be a great gift.Outstanding Bits!
These bits are super! Stop wasting your money on the cheap stuff; get the best!SHARP SHARP SHARP
I have drilled 25, 3/8" holes into hard steel and the bit is as sharp as it was on the first hole!!!! LOVE these bits!!!!NUFF SAID
This is not your above average drill set this is the absolute best you can buy, quality, no cut down shanks and in use drills through materials with ease and precision. Less than ideal
I bought this because I am making a set of morris chairs that require a lot of mortising. The primary problem that I have had is that the chisel holder tends to slip up the quill and that it takes a LOT of pressure to drill the holes. I eventually fixed part of the slipping problem by putting a hose clamp above the chisel holder on the quill, but then the holder started slipping over the ring that goes between the chisel holder and the quill. Finally, in an effort to tighten it enough, I broke the handle on the chisel holder. All in all I am fairly unhappy and quite disappointed.Great item for a new woodworker!
This fit perfect in my Delta drill press. It's perfect for the first time or new woodworker who doesn't want to buy a dedicated mortiser. Would definetly recommend to anyone thinking about getting one!Poorly Cased
I've read other reviews regarding this item, and have to agree Delta really got lazy with the kit case for it. Things are jumbled into it with no place for them to be, just piled on top of other components, wherever there's room. The tool itself is what I expected, does the job, and fits my drill press fine. For a shop with not a lot of available space, versatility is a must, and this is a reasonable alternative to a bench top mortising machine.Okay for casual use
This setup is okay for limited use. One disappointment was the poor shape the cutting surfaces are in....I am a big fan of SHARP....these are not really too well conditioned. But, for the limited use I plan of using this tool for, it appears as though it will perform well enough to allow me to get small projects completed. I suggest you visit a bit sharpener or get to work with your own stones prior to beginning any work.Ok, but too small
Received the product and put it together in about an hour. Agree with previous reviews that alignment is going to be an issue and without proper alignment it's useless. My big problem was that I bought the product for a particular project (a large workbench) and the piece does not fit on the drill press (4x4 column). Both height and depth were issues. I tested on scrap wood and it seems to cut nice square holes, however, I'm going to have to go the old fashioned route for this project. Looks like it will be good for small projects.CMT 811.501.11 3-Piece Plywood Groove 1/2-Inch Shank Router Bit Set

False Advertisment No bits above 1/4
I specifically bought this set because it was supposed to go up to 3/8 and it stops at 1/4. My father already had them out and using them so could not return . RIP OFFFFFFFF!nice quality
I bought these for my grandfather and he was amazed at the sizes available in one case seeing as how you can only find 4 packs where he shops. He's been using them like crazy and talks about how great they are because they don't bow. Great buy!Mislabeled.
The bits are advertised to range in size from 1/16" to 3/8". In reality, the largest bit in the set is 1/4"Good Drills
Very good drills at a modest price with quick change time due to hex shafts. Sharp self-centering blades make work accurate, fast and easy.Just what I was looking for.
I just bought the mini Bosch screwdriver-drill, which has a quick release 1/4 drive connection. I wanted a small drill bit set for my tool bag, and this bit set was perfect. It is small, the bits lock in case, but remove easily, and the case clip locks closed and stays closed. It's hard to find a bit set that doesn't have a 1/4 adaptor to take up space and add weight, so this was just what I wanted.Factory-Reconditioned Skil 2887-05-RT 18-Volt 2-Speed 3/8-inch Drill/Driver w/Bit Index, 2 Batteries, Charger & Case

This is a great product at a fantastic price! It actually cost less than a replacement battery for my old 14.4v Ryobi. It has all the power I could need, and is very easy to use. I particularly like the battery charge level indicator.Works Great
I used this for installing aproximately 2,000 square feet of metal roofing and siding. Works great for the price. I got it brand new for $79.95 at Home DepotExcellent Price on a Great Drill
I purchased a refurb Skill 2887 drill and am very impressed with the quality and features of this drill. I prefer this drill over my Dewalt, B&D, and Craftsman. It did have some minor nicks and scratches on it, so you could tell it was a refurb. Two batteries and the battery level indicator are very nice features to have on a drill. Shipping was a little longer than usual for Amazon (10 days), but I can't complain. Overall this is a very good drill for the money.Anytime Tools 100+1 Piece Tamper Proof/security Screwdriver Bits and 1/4" Reversible Ratchet Screwdriver Handle

It's included
Purchased to use for game and PDA access. Has almost every type of security bit needed to open controllers, consoles, PDA's and cell phones. The metal used for these bits is not the strongest so make sure you use these tools carefully as the bits can "shave" or "chip". No complaints since I started using them. Great way to get a bundle at a low price.Great Tool Set
I bought 5 sets of this product. One for myself and 4 for gifts. I gave on to my Dad, one to my brother, one to my father-in-law and one to my brother-in-law. Five stars from all of us. I also bought the 33 piece security bit set to go with it. Both have come in handy with my iMac, Mac Book, Dell and Toshiba. The screwdriver has come in handy for big jobs too. I used it to install 5 closets worth of Elfa. It's a great screwdriver for any size job. Sturdy and well made. Has a magnetic head, which helps with the little stuff. I put my old flat and phillips head screwdrivers in storage. Now I only carry this one with the bit sets in my Bucket Boss. Great product.not 4 Wii
if you are trying to use the Tri-Wing screwdriver to Open Your Nintendo Wii, please do not Buy it... but if your reason is different, i will recommended to buy..Very solid construction
The screwdriver bits are very sturdy. The reversible rachet handle is strong and feels good in the hand because of its heft and rubberized handle and decent contouring. The orange case is a bit gaudy but snaps shut without problems. Only caveat, don't lose the foam padding sheet which keeps the bits in place when you close the case Otherwise, many bits will be shaken out of position. I lost mine, but fixed the problem by manually cutting a foam insert from other packing material.Excellent For Servers Hard Disk Bases

works great
Just used the 1/2" and was as good as a large hammer drill, works great.refurbished drill bits?
The seal on the package for the drills was broken. Whatever lubricants were inside to keep the edges sharp had leaked out or evaporated. It also meant that I had to oil/lubricate them and put them in a new seal able container to keep them in. The bits themselves were in good condition. If you have an immediate application for these bits, you probably want to buy them somewhere else. It took more than a month for Amazon to ship them. The other sellers of this set are lower price and ship faster so they should be considered after adding in shipping. Couldn't decide what to call this item. Reconditioned implies they've been used, which they didn't appear to be, refurbished may be too positive since they didn't reseal the package.ORERALL REVIEW
This product is what I ordered and was delivered on time. Satisfied with service and delivery.Work Good, Last Long TIme
WHat can you say about masonry bits> They worked good when new, and they work good after many holes in hard concrete. I noticed that Milwaukee bits have a hex shaped shankfor a more positive lock in the chuck, and these do not. But they work well and last long.Maybe the best concrete bits made in its class.

Bosch HCK 001
The bit set arrived over a week after the rotary hammer which I also ordered at the same time. My job was completed with locally bought bits over a week before these bits arrived. Slow. Slow. Slow.Excellent bit set
If you are just buying a SDS Plus bit type rotary hammer drill this is an excellent bit set to get started with. The case is metal so it will last forever and when a bit wears out you can just get a new bit for the case.Amazon bundled this item with the hammer drill I also purchased
When purchasing the Bosch 1194AVSRK hammer drill it these bits were recommended via Amazon. Since I needed to drill a hole in my brick house for a basement bathroom vent I thought I would order them too. They are the incorrect type for the drill. Beware of Amazon. I now have a set of bits that are SDS and am waiting for my new order or bits which are on back order. Do not trust the selections that Amazon makes but the Drill is great.Nice bits and storage container/box
Very handy storage box which I'll restock w/replacement bits of the same size when originals wear out. Wish bits were a little longer but their quality seems great. Not bad
I bought these mostly for the 1/4" and have used one of the two 6" and one of the two inch about 50 times apiece and they still work. Much better than buying cheap bits.Yukon Tool YTRB24 24-Piece Router Bit Set

Outrageous!
I have router bits for repetitive and routine work, typically costing $50 to $100 each. Yukon Tools will not replace them. For half the price of a cheaper bit, this kit includes nearly every small bit you may need for that unusual or small job. They are true, cut well for a while, and have not broken on me during occasional use. At a dollar each, these router bits fill every possible expectation and then some. If you want to run molding for your whole house, expect durability for 50 mortises, or build a dozen kitchen cabinets, buy the right tool, but these might be the best bang for the buck in the tool market today. In my opinion, Yukon Tools supplies an outrageously excellent deal.Much better then the price would lead you to believe
I purchased this before a decking project as I intended to put some unusual corners and edges throughout the project to break up the line and give some visual appeal. While I've used 5 different bits, by far and away the most used was the 45 degree bevel. This bit has done over 1200 feet of 1/2" edge bevels in wet pressure treated 2x6's and is still going. The bearing is getting rough at this point, and the blade edge is getting dull, but it probably has another 300 to 400 feet in it. A quarter mile of work before failure makes this set worth the price in that one bit.Works for me...
I do a lot of artistic woodwork. The router blades are an indispensable set of tools. Thecut clean and remain sharp.Husband loved them..
Hubby was very impressed with the set. The case is a wonderful addition to the purchase. Looks very nice.yukon tool
Package arrived on time. These router bits are as good as any I have ever used . Their rotation is true and the bearings have showed no signs of defects . Would buy again .Kreg Pocket Hole Screws #2 Square Drive Coarse Washer Head-PARENT

Best square drive screws available
I have YET to break a KREG screw off doing something. They just work. What more can a person want in woodworking? I wouldn't use anyone else's screw for pocket hole joinery. Best to buy in bulk if you find yourself using one particular size. The more you buy of them the more you save. It's a nice way to join wood and hide the joinery as well.Cool little screws
I got these screws because I anticipate using them for some pocket hole joinery in some pine I have. But I've been using them left and right since they arrived, so I'm sure glad I got the 1000 pack. I have historically used the "wood screws" sold at home centers, etc, which generally have a Phillips head and a fairly thick shank. The problem is you have to drill the right sized pilot hole or the head strips fairly easily when the going gets tough. These "pocket hole" screws seem to have a much thinner shank and deeper threads (at least on the coarse ones) so they screw in much easier. Plus the square (Robertson?) drive is much better that Phillips for holding on and not stripping. I suppose they are weaker in some dimension than the wood screws, but how much strength do you need?Best Pocket Screws
Great pockets screws. Work great in soft wood which I use a lot. Stick with the fine ones for hard wood.2-1/2 Pocket Screws
There's not too much you can say about a screw but these did exactly what I expected. They are sharp and run great through pine and oak. I will continue to use these in the future. And as usual, Amazon did their great job of describing the product and delivering.Great Item
The Kreg Screws are great and I will not put a picture frame or any piece of furniture together again without using these screws.Thanks.Kreg K3SP K3 Pocket Hole Jig Standard Pack

Pocket Hole Jig
This Pocket Hole Jig was very to use, even though it was my first time using it. I was building a coffee table, and I needed a way to secure the top. I was superised how easy this was. I wish that I had bought this Jig years ago. Thanks: AlbertEffective tool
The Kreg K3SP K3 Pocket Hole Jig delivers an effective means to join pieces as advertised. I am happy with its use.Works great, well made
I am just a weekend woodworker so I was hesitant to spend the money on this. I am glad I did. All parts are well made and seem like they will last forever with the occasional use they will get. It's easy to use and makes a very strong, concealed joint.A must for real wood workers
The Kreg Pocket Hole Jig is a MUST for every serious woodworker. It is also an excellent gift for the serious woodworker that doesn't own one.great tool, but needs more accessories
I love this tool. It makes tight, straight joints for cabinetry. I have already built one custom bookshelf with it, and I have the pieces cut and face frame built for another. I'm planning on building custom cabinets for my kitchen with it, so I can make best use of the tiny space I have and so I can make something smooth and easy to wipe. However, I wish I'd gone for one of the bigger sets. It would be a lot easier if I could mount the jig or clamp it down so it wouldn't move while I'm trying to get the wood into it straight. I could really use another couple of clamps to make assembly easier. I've been eyeing that right angle clamp that Kreg makes for this system. I just don't have enough hands to put things together and that resulted in my first face frame being crooked. I would also really recommend having a speed square handy when you are assembling with this. It is just too easy to get one screw pulled a little tighter than the others and get it off a tad. Once I started using a speed square held tightly into the corner while I'm driving the screws, my next two face frames came out square. So, unless you are only planning on doing really rudimentary projects, or you are so incredibly experienced and gifted that you just don't make mistakes, I'd go for a more complete set.Black and Decker Project Kit 71-938 150 Piece Drilling and Driving Set

renew those 1/2" to 3/4" drill bits and save
I am a hobbyist that likes to fabricate parts for my automotive interest as well as build shop equipment or other structures from mild steel. In doing so I use a lot of larger drills in the ½" to ¾" variety. If you have ever bought any of these you know how expensive they can get. After ruining some of them while building various projects it was getting expensive. I figured if I could save the cost of just a few drills then the drill doctor would pay for itself. I have not been disappointed and it has renewed those useless drills. The action used to sharpen the bit requires you to turn the bit by hand using a supplied "chuck" fixture that works with a jig to perform the angle at which the bit gets sharpened. This mating of the chuck and jig can allow you to wobble the bit while turning it by hand, however by using both hands I was easily able to control the movement to get good results. The actual jig probably wouldn't allow you to mess up the bit but it does seem a little less accurate than what it could be. It has a small compartment to catch the material from the bit while it's being sharpened but it is marginal at best due to how fine the waste material is. The other thing I notice was how loud it was. I used ear protection just because the wine of the high rpm motor had just the right pitch to be somewhat objectionable especially since you must turn the chuck a lot with larger bits. All this aside, the drill doctor was easy to set up and use. It has easily sharpened bits that would otherwise have been thrown away. They seem to cut well after sharpening them and now I can save some of the money I was using on new bits.Very easy to use
The big brown truck dropped off my 750x today. It took longer to open the packaging than it did to learn how to use the Drill Doctor. I'll never suffer with a dull bit ever again! The Doctor is Out
Wasn't pleased with the Drill Doctor at all. It sharpened the bits but after using them for about 1 minute they were just as dull as before sharpening. Better results with my grinding wheel believe it or not.Does exactly what the Ads say. Who'da thunk it!
I was a bit concerned when I ordered this as I've heard too many stories about things "seen on TV." What a wonderful surprise this turned out to be. I sharpened some bits that seriously needed it, and they performed like new. Then I sharpened every bit I had, since I wasn't sure if they needed it or not, and I knew they were going to be "like new" when I was done. I put split points on some bits. In general I went crazy and offered the shop at my worksite (a large office building) the use of the machine. Six months ago one of our office safes had a broken lock and the locksmith showed up and started to drill through the steel plate. I noticed a stack of carbide bits at his side and I offered the use of my Drill Doctor. He was aware of the product but hadn't used it. He was amazed how well the bits performed after I sharpened them. He had a 10x loupe with him and let me use it to work with the bits--I highly recommend keeping one of these near the Drill Doctor because it really did help me get the bits perfect. Instead of using 20 bits to drill through the safe we did it it 4, and it wasn't a question of the money. We did it in about an hour instead of the usual 4 hours because the Drill Doctor actually puts a sharper edge on carbide bits than you get from the factory--the reason is that almost all carbide bits are used to drill concrete rather than armor plating, and the sharpness of the bit is not as important when you drill concrete. By the way, these devices were designed by a company that makes big-league professional sharpeners. I recommend this without reserve.Drill Doctor DD750X Drill Bit Sharpener

convenience at its best
I bought 2 of them when amazon had them for $2.99, one for my father and one for myself. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of how small the labeling text is for each bit.Great for the price!
I got this in a gold box deal for only $3.99..so I picked up 7 of 'em. Then they went on sale for $2.99. This absolutely cannot be beat by anyone! Even at the local Home Depot sells em for almost $10 a piece! I was kind of shocked though at how small this thing is! Maybe about the size circumfrence wise of a margarine tub? The pieces slide out in the little hole and makes it easy for organization, especially with the strong magnet... However, prone to losing these little bits and pieces, I went ahead and got 7 of 'em.... can never have enough of these things, especially at an awesome price!Great product at an awesome price!
Milwaukee is a great brand, and this is a great product. With a high power magnet on the back, it will stick to anything metal. A nice variety of bits, and a cool case to keep them in. A great buy!Very Nice Screw Driving Set
I bought this screw driving set to match my 18v Milwaukee Hammer Drill but I find myself using this set more so with my 14.4v Dewalt drill. Great little set of everything you need in terms of screw driving bits and you can throw it right in your tool box or tool bet and you have everything you need and it doesn't take up much space plus it has a magnet on the back and you can place it right on something magnetic when working. I like the fact that you can turn the set and once you get to the bit you want it falls right into your hand making it easy and fast to switch bits. The extender bar is nice to as it slides so it helps to hold screws in place when you are driving them. Only issue is its a little difficult to get the extender bar out of the top but other than that its a great product at a great price and is very easy and convenient.Cool Item by Milwaukee.....
Very nice little marketing set by Milwaukee. Especially like the magnet on the back side where you can "slap it" anywhere on a metal surface. You cannot go wrong with the Milwaukee name.Makita 784874-A Ultralok 15 Piece Drilling and Driving Set

Makes it easy to finish a job quickly.
Very handy kit, makes it easy to finish a job quickly without having to look for the right bits. Makita 784874-A Ultralok 15 Piece Drilling and Driving SetSome play; it's not absolutely solid
There's some slop in the mechanism, which I didn't expect, but it seems to do the job well enough, and it's quite convenient.Excellent Set
I've been working with this set for a couple years now and it has held up well. Very quick bit/ driver changes and great makita quality (I also have a quick change black and Decker set which is not nearly as beefy/ solid). Only complaint is the inside of the case is cheap-- the plastic tray is pretty flimsy. But most of the time I keep the parts as the "default" on my drill anyway. You might want to do yourself a favor and get the bigger set-- I wish I did!Awesome, must-have accessory for any cordless drill
The whole concept behind a cordless drill in the first place is convenience and usability, so when I recently purchased my Makita on Amazon this was the next thing added to my cart. No complaints so far and none expected ... the UltraLoc system offers an unbeatable combination of speed, ease of use and quality. The product description says it all: simply pull and release. Repeat as needed. The ultimate in plug and play! My only (minor) gripe is that it would have been nice to have included a couple more bits and/or sockets, but there's more than enough here to cover most jobs. Whether you're building homes or just living in one, you can't go wrong with this rugged, yet affordable solution. Best of all, you'll never have to waste another second fumbling around your toolbox for a key chuck again.A great accessory ... a real timesaver
This is probably the best single accessory you can own to go with your cordless drill. With Makita's UltraLoc, you can snap bits in and out with speed and ease. Makita's attention to quality on this accessory is second to none ... in fact I use the UltraLoc with a non-Makita drill. Handy kit for the tool box
These aren't the highest quality bits out there, but the tough little case is great for jobs away from the homestead. I'm happy with this product.i like these bits.
having owned some cheap drill bits before which broke, i was hesitant to buy these, given the affordable price. however, these work great. no problems so far. and the case is nicely designed. just awesome!Great for home improvement projects
Drill bits cut smooth and clean. I guess the 135° Split Point has something to do with it. It also self-centers and keeps the drill bits from roaming on hard, smooth surfaces. This set also boasts "titanium coating" which should last much longer. I have not had the drill bits long enough to put that to the test yet. Another feature I really like on this set is the "3-Flat Shank" which prevents the bit from slipping in the chuck. My other bits at times just spin in the chuck. This set includes: (2) 1/16 inch bits (2) 5/64 inch bits (2) 3/32 inch bits (2) 7/64 inch bits (2) 1/8 inch bits (1) 9/64 inch bit (1) 5/32 inch bit (1) 11/64 inch bit (1) 3/16 inch bit (1) 13/64 inch bit (1) 7/32 inch bit (1) ¼ inch bit (1) 5/16 inch bit (1) 3/8 inch bit (1) ½ inch bit and plastic case with sliding lock. I don't know how well these drill bits would stand up to a contractors standards, but it is a great little set for home improvement people when you don't want to haul around a huge set.Best Basic Bit Kit
I have purchased this set several times to give as gifts and to carry in various "kits" I have created for different jobs. These are not the absolute best bits Milwaukee makes or the absolute best on the market, but this set IS THE BEST basic bit set you can buy at this kind of a price. 135 degree split point tips for easy starting in a range of materials, quality titanium coating for longer life when drilling metal, good organizing case, flatted shanks for no chuck slippage and today Amazon is selling this set for about 80 cents per bit. At that price, I'd expect junk quality. This set delivers excellent quality. Unless you are willing to pay a lot more money, this is the set to buy.Made in China with Milwaukee name on them
Sorry to say these bits are poor quality. Very soft inside and bend quite easily. May work for the homeowner, but you get what you pay for. A set of bits sold for profit alone. No shame!Skil 2887-05 18-Volt Cordless 2-Speed 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver w/Bit Index, 2 Batteries, Charger, and Case

Super Tool For Do-It-Yourselfer
When I first read other reviews before getting the Skil 2887-05, I was inclined to get a "top-of-the-line" model and would have subsequently spent a lot more. But I was favorably influenced by the reviews on this drill and decided it matched my around-the-house, light to medium workload needs. My choice was correct to get this drill. It is proving very easy to use with many excellent features as detailed in the product description. I am particularily impressed on the fast battery charge and more that sufficient drilling torque. I can state without hesitation, this drill can perform well beyond anything I will ever demand of it. Therefore, it was a great choice for me at a great priceskil cordless drill review
My husband received this drill for Father's Day. He loves it, has used it for many chores around the house. He is one happy drillerSkil 2887-05
This is the perfect drill for what i use it for.Has plenty of torque and RPM. Just messin around I ran a #10 2 1/2" screw head and all clean through a green 4x4 , didnt test it at all..I'm very impressed with it and recommend it highly..Quick charger is great and the extra battery is a must for ANY cordless tool, just to keep things going...Might buy one of the refurbs to keep in the truck.. Thanks Amazon you got it to me FAST...Most Impressive
Had two of those cheaper cordless drills in as many years. I have only used this drill 2 or 3 times since I recieved it, but am really surprised at the quality, power and ease of use for the price! I also was surprised at how fast the Amazon free shipping got this product to my door, they were 4 to 5 days ahead of the original delivery date quoted. I highly recommend this drill!Skil Cordless Drill/Driver

I'm well pleased
I used this product to repair some squeeky kitchen chairs. It worked just as advertised and I am very satisfied with the results. I have examined similar "knock off" products but each one was lacking in one way or another. This is probably to avoid patent infringement issues. Kreg is the original and clearly the best. I am looking forward to discovering more applications for this system.61 yr old woman gets it right on 4th drill hole!
I'm one of those people who only read directions if I can't figure out how to use something intuitively. By attempt #4, I was an expert user. LOL. I don't have dado blades for making dado joints, nor do I own a dovehole jig. I HATE 45 angle joints with a passion! Most of my joining is plain, old-fashioned, line'er up butt joints. 15 years ago, I'd seen this tool demo'd at a huge woodworking show I was wandering through in Portland OR. It has stuck in my mind as a "must have" slick jig tool, all these years. I couldn't remember the name, but I sure remembered "slanty holes" and tried to find something locally. You should see what Home Depot sells--talk about awkward and tomfoolery! YUCKERS!! This is everything I remembered, and thanks to Amazon, I now know its name is KREG. I'd just never had a need for it before now. I'm "retired now" you know, and have never been busier! LOL Now, in my 60s, I have time to screen in a front porch, (done!) install headers for the transom above my new door, (done) and remodel my own bathroom to install a jacuzzi. (THAT IS NEXT! LOL!) I remembered my "wow" impression for butt joining wall studs and headers with this "blue tool." I went to Amazon to find the best price., and it was received in the mail almost before I had time to turn around. THANKS! NOW, I'll read the directions. (grin)Worth Every Penny
Saw this item used on "Cool Tools" and figured id give it a try. 3 words, Absolutely love it. Create quick solid joints without having to wait for glue to set. Great for quick little projects where I don't feel like breaking out the plate joiner/glue or make Tenons/Mortises. However its still strong enough for cabinets. The case is small enough to not take up any more of my already limited storage space and still has room to store all my accompanying accessories. The chart on the inside of the case takes all the guess work out of which screws to use with which size/type wood. Even more helpful on the inside of the case is the measuring guide for setting the drill bit depth. I don't know about the rest of you users but while convenient for the measuring guide, keeping the inside plastic seemed like such a waste of storage space for me. The jig it self is very easy to use with preset sizes just a click away. Overall I love this tool and it has more then paid for its self as far as I am concerned. My one bit of advice, make sure you have a very strong clamp otherwise the jig will slide sideways when you start drilling. The perfect solution for my project
I am building a railing system for my porch, consisting of sub-sections that contain the balusters that are mounted under the top rail. This product has allowed me to achieve professional looking results, while being designed and built by an amateur. I will no doubt find this just as valuable for future furniture projects, as well. The product is well designed, and the adjustments make it versatile and nearly "goof-proof". Thank you, Kreg, for your excellent product.Kreg Pocket Hole Jig

quick change chuck doesn't fit the ps-20!
Good bits, but the quick change chuck doesn't fit the ps-20! All the bits work fine, but the chuck that lets you do a one-handed change doesn't fit the ps-20 which has a 1/4" hex size, and the chuck in this is biggerGreat American Made Product
Great American made product. Very easy to use and a great time saver when switching between bits or driving screws. The quality stands out over other quick change chuck attachments.Nice small package
Just a little better than the the others out there and the price is great. Nicely put together and does what you need to do. Fits well with the other small stuff and when packaged with thier small drill/driver you get your work done.Great product, Good price, Fast shipping.
I was already familiar with this particular brand and product so the main interest was price and shipping. I was not disappointed. After a thorough search both online and locally I found amazon's price combined with the free shipping offer was a good deal. The drill bit set was shipped out as promised and I think it is a good basic set to keep with your drills, in your truck, or at home. High quality parts in a solid case with a good sliding type locking mechanism and three important words... Made in USA.American Made and High Quality
The title says it all. This product is very well made in the USA, including the bits, and it is a pleasure to use. It costs more than the cheap imports from Dewalt, Milwaukee, and others, and is worth every penny. It is rather pathetic that you have to turn to a German company to buy an American made bit. But, such is the state of the times with Dewalt manufacturing in Mexico and worse, and Milwaukee being owned by the same Chinese company that owns Ryobi and the Rigid trademark. Milwaukee is now the same as Ryobi and Chinese Rigid. No thanks. I'll buy Bosch instead and maybe get lucky and get a Swiss made product or even a German or US product. At least I won't get a Chinese one.DEWALT DW2169 38-Piece Impact Driver Ready Accessory Set

I've been waiting for a kit like this!
I first saw this product on a television coverage of the 2008 tool expo on HGTV. A dewalt rep was showing off the benefits of the new bit designs and angled driver. These accessories are designed for impact drivers that have the collet lock for the bit rather than a chuck. They are also hardened to stand up to high torques that impact drivers generate. I have been real happy with these and whole heartedly recommend them if you own an impact driver and have been looking for a set of good bits for it. The cases are typical of dewalt and works well.this set rocks
I know, most dewalt bit sets are mediocre. Not this one. It is awesomely balanced. -robinSame bits
All the screw driver bits are Phillips size 2. It would have been better had they included a couple of different sizes and a regular flat blade. I also have had a problem with the Impact Ready Pivoting Bit Tip Holder snapping in two. I have been able to get it back together, but it has happened more then once. All other bits work well.worth it
best thing about this set is the pivoting bit holder. black & decker makes a similiar pivoting bit holder but it is longer on the driving end than the dewalt. shorter is better in most instances.Energy Saving Smart Strip With Autoswitching Technology and Modem/Coaxial Surge Protection #LCG5

Saving money on your heating bill, and being green at the same time
Very good product. Set your control unit, such as a TV, and then allow your speaker system, VCR, DVD, and other peripherals on the auto-switch plugs and when your TV is off, your other energy burning electronics are cut off too.So Far, So Good
I saw this item on Oprah a while ago and have been determined to buy one ever since. For a while, they were a bit scarce, but not any more it seems. In any event, I have a lot of computer things, several printers several scanners, and lots of doo-dads that hook into all of these things. Without even exploring the more advanced settings of the Smart Strip, I can say that I am pleased with the fact that when I turn the mother ship off (a.k.a. my cpu) everthing that only functions when the computer is on shuts off as well and I know that in time, that will make a huge difference. I no longer see the many blue indicator lights on peripherals that aren't being used and it's nice. I will be hooking one of these babies up to the TV soon. The perfect solution
Works perfectly. I bought a nice new receiver and the only feature it didn't have was a switched outlet. I use this strip to turn off other components such as my HDMI and composite video switches when my receiver turns off. Highly recommended. The only bad thing about this power strip is the price, in my humble opinion.
So far I have been really pleased with this powerstrip. The energy savings is a bonus to me. My primary use for this power strip is to turn on super quiet cooling fans in my entertainment center when my amplifier comes on. It is handy that my TV, and other non-essential devices are completely turned off and not drawing any power when the amplifier is off. I'm glad that my satellite TV box can now stay cool when the rest of my equipment is on. Besides the price, I guess I would have liked this power strip much better in black instead of white. It doesn't matter because it is inside a cabinet, but if I had to put the powerstrip behind the cabinet it would have been better looking as white.A REAL Simple Energy Saving Tool
If you want something to help you save a few buck on your energy bill while also prolonging the life of Equipment, this is the tool for you. I had an idea what this SmartStrip could do but i really wanted to see it for myself. This guy is as simple as it sounds and just as convient. You have 1 outlet that you plug your switching device in. The switching device is the device that when you turn on or off turns everything else on or off. You also have 2 Always ON outlets (for DVR boxes or Broadband Modem, etc). And 4 "Controlled" outlets, 1 of which is an extra wide one. Now, the 1 outlet for the switching device is an Always ON outlet. There is a little knob on the side for helping you tweek the switching setting that power off everything else when you put the main device into a low power state or off. Because some things draw power even when turned off so you may need to tweek it. I bought this to try it out at work. If you want something to definitely help at home or at the office, this is perfect. At work, i had my Laptop at the switching port. I plugged the Monitor, the Speakers, the Desk Lamp, my cell chargers, any and all accessories into the controlled ports. I tweeked the knob on the side so that when I put my laptop into Standby, that it will also shut off everything else as well. To tweek it, you must put the computer into Standby mode and adjusted the knob until all the devices turn off. This is great because the moment i shutdown the computer at night, it turns everything off and i don't have to forget about turning anything off. All that littles of electricity its saving is great. You could easily use it at home. You can have it setup where your TV is the switch, your DVR is in the Always ON, your DVD, VCR, Game Consoles, Stereo, Home Theater, etc are all plugged into the Controlled Ports, So that the moment you turn the TV off, everything else turns off. No more nagging the kids to make sure they turned everything else, no need to round through remotes to make sure everything else is off. The price is right as well, you are going to pay about the same price for something that also does about the same amount of Surge Protection, so why not get something that will save you in long running cost as well. It could pay for itself in the first year alone.Kreg K3MS K3 Master Pocket Hole Jig System

Great addition to shop
This is somthing I have wanted for awhile and now I can do more and better things in my shop. Grat product and easy to set up.Great, but with a few problems
Kreg did a great job with this jig, but there are a few important things to keep in mind if you're thinking about doing pocket hole joinery; Things that I learned the hard way so I thought I'd share my experience. First of all, forget about using pocket holes in MDF, Particle board, Melamine coated particle board, fiber board, etc. The screws enter too close to the edge for these materials and they just disintegrate. Also, if you're going to be joining plywood, remember that plywood is rarely sold by actual thickness. For instance, 1/2" plywood is really 7/16" thick these days. And that 1/16" does make a difference with pocket hole joinery. The 1" screws that you're supposed to use with 1/2" material might poke out the other side if you're not careful. You can compensate for this somewhat by setting the drill depth, but you have to remember to do this and not just go with the 1/2" settings. I didn't have this problem with 3/4" material, even though it too is not really 3/4" thick. You might want to consider buying some of the clamps they sell for doing pocket hole joinery Kreg RAC Right Angle Clamp, Kreg Standard Face Clamp. It's almost impossible to get a good joint without them. When possible, I'll tack the pieces together with brads and then drive the pocket screws, but you have to have something holding the pieces firmly together before driving the screws or it just won't work right. If you're thinking about hooking up your shop vac to the jig, you'll probably need some sort of adapter. I wish these things were more standardized. This jig requires something like a 1 1/2" hose, my shop vac is 2 1/2". Don't let this review scare you away from pocket hole joinery. It's quick, it's easy and it works if you know what its limitations are. And Kreg did do a great job with this jig. Well worth the price of admission.Great system
I owned the older version of the Kreg pocket hole jig. Although it works fine, the new version made some helpful improvements. The holding mechanism is greatly improved. The locking clamp now has two large pads instead of the older system that has one large pad and one small one (although there is a place for both, if your two pieces of wood are slightly different thickness, you can better control the pressure and alignment with the old one). The vacuum port is nice, but I needed an adapter to connect it to my Festool vacuum.Great tool to have
Face frames, cabinet joinery, and many other uses make this a diverse tool for your shop. The first time I ever used any kind of pocket hole equipment, and it worked flawlessly. My first project was creating a custom transition from one room to another with a 2" difference in height. Instead of breaking out the biscuit joiner, marking and cutting BOTH pieces, gluing, then clamping, just cut all your pieces, use the extremely easy jig and drill some holes and you're nearly there. All that's left is to add a little glue, and screw it together! The kit includes everything you need to set up your shop for production type drilling, as well as a jig and clamp to use in the field or on awkward pieces.Disappointing results in dense cabinet hardwood
I was excited to start using my new Kreg jig when I got it and was immediately disappointed when the mating 1 1/2 x 3/4 inch hickory face frame split when I drove in the screws. I thought it was just a bad coincidence, but then the other end split too. So I think I'm doing something wrong and open the manual where it assures you that no pre-drilling is needed and specifically names hickory and maple as examples. Obviously this isn't true, so I set out to pre-drill the holes in the next joints. I put the screw in just so it marks the matting piece and then back the screw out. Pilot the hole then drive the screw back in. Now I'm thinking this is not a time saving device as advertised. This time on the second screw, it snaps off in the middle. I think well maybe it was a weak screw and maybe I over worked it until three screws later another one snaps off. I've got to tell you, save your money and your time on this thing unless you are planning on using less dense wood or wider face frames. With all the fiddling around to pilot drill the matting pieces it is much quicker to use a biscuit joiner with FF biscuits.Milwaukee 48-32-1500 Quik-Lok 38 Piece Hex Shank Drilling and Driving Bit Set

Nice kit, but the bits are no where close to typical Milwaukee quality
Very nice set, but as other reviewers have stated the drill bits are pretty weak. I have snapped 2 of them off using them in wood. I know that bits break, but this was just a little to soon and in soft material. If your going to buy this for the bits i would look elsewhere, but if your mainly going to use the tips its a great kit to have.Quick lock
This product has met all of my needs. It has what I need in one sinple bit case. I use this with my RAD attachment from Milwaukee when doing HVAC in close quaters. Most of my tools are Milwaukee because they last longer and are made for the long haul.Great Value
This is a very useful item to have and it is a great value. Excellent quality.nice set up
This is a nice set to have.It has a good combination of driver bits and drill bits. Nice case to through in the truck and have a little bit of everything.Milwaukee bit set
Pros: Excellent set. Has all the main things you would want in a bit set. Particularly nice (and often missing in other bit sets) are the extension and the 1/4" and 3/8" socket adapters. The quick-change head is nice if you use a regular drill instead of one that has the hex shank head. Also the case is very nice. Cons: It would be nice to have more variety. Instead of 10 Phillips #2, give me some hex head bits. Also, I think this would be better without the drill bits (instead offer more variety like hex head and torx). If you are going to be drilling, get a full set of 28 or so drill bits. That way you can have one very complete set of fastener bits, and one very complete set of drill bits, instead of one that tries to do just a little of both. My complaints are true of most bit sets. This is still a 5 star set.Dremel 697-06 150 Piece Rotary Tool Super Accessory Assortment

A few extra items...
This kit only has a few extra items over the ones that came with the tool. Everything has worked as it should however do not expect to get anything terrific.Nice add on.
This is a nice add on to my dremel...it's in a nice box to keep it orginized as well.disappointment
the dremel parts kit is over rated- the 150 item inventory count includes the duplicate parts like cutting disc, sanding and polish accessories= disposable parts not tools for the dremel. so there are only about 20 real and specific items here w/ the rest of the 150 pieces being many disposable -consumable items. An Excellent Accessory Kit for the Price
I got this kit as a gold box item. Very reasonable but still worth the regular price on Amazon. In all fairness, many of the 150 parts are sanding discs and similar disposable elements, but you still get quite a few good tools for your rotary tool with this kit. Nice enclosure as well. Either side opens up to expose the bits (and parts). Very handy design. Not a bad deal
This is a great startup kit for a new rotary tool user. The case is okay, but large for the number of pieces included. There are way to many cutting discs and sanding drums in proportion to every thing else included. I dropped a cutting disc from less than a foot and it shattered so maybe it is good to have a bunch of them, but for what it's worth, the second cutting disc did not break after being attached to the tool and cutting metal. Overall, good startup deal.DeWalt DW2163 37 Piece Screwdriving and Nutdriving Set in Plastic Case

Perfect Set of just the right stuff
Just the right assortment of bits/drivers needed. I bought this for my Dad who has pretty much all he needs. But he didn't have one, all-inclusive set that had everything, now he has one box that he can use anywhere, and add to later if needed.Agreed with the previous review
The only thing that I've used in this set is the Compact Magnetic Drive Guide.Good high quality set
Reasonably good set, even though a little expensive. But that is what you pay for when you buy dewalt.Nice Bit Set. Nice Price.
I've come to expect quality from DeWalt and these are no exception. As an active carpenter I use these daily and cannot get along at work without them. Rock solid 9/10.... (Nothings perfect!).Dewalt (made in china)
This was a good deal - I got it for $13 shipped on a lightning deal. That is the only reason I bought it...not sure if it would really be worth anymore. The phillips bits seem to wear quickly and the screw sleeve just seems cheaply made. Not terrible, but I have used better stuff.Energy Saving Smart Strip With Autoswitching Technology #LCG3 (04940)

Let's see
Does what it says on the box. Just waiting to see the $avings on my Electric bill until then I'll give it a few months before my next review.Electric Savings
I have been sceptical about purchasing over priced surge protectors, but I have to say after using this item for 2 months I have seen a drop in my electric bill and can only point to this device. I am running receiver, HDTV, DVD, Cable Box and 2 lights on this device and it works great. I feel comfortable that when I turn off the TV everything goes with it and excess power is not being consumed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some savings.longer delay needed as de-bounce function
Sense outlet is connected to my TV, and it works properly... As advertised. However, I would have expected a de-bouncing circuit or delay on the switched outlets... My Westinghouse 37" display causes the switched outlets to bounce twice during a power on. Bummer, and sensitivity adjustment doesn't help. Saves me lots of power, couldn't get my family to turn off the amplifiers for the HT system when they were done watching without this.Didn't work with my Imac
I really wanted to save money with all my peripherals hooked to my year old Imac. The USB devices made the computer cycle back on after 2 seconds. Unplugging various devices would only work intermittently. There was no rhyme or reason to get the strip to work as advertised. I sent it back. I also purchased a Kill A Watt energy monitor. (That works great) In sleep mode the Imac and peripherals draw about 25 watts. (110 when running) Now I wish I could get my cable box to shut down-it draws about 40 watts all the time.Plug and Play
I highly recommend this product. It was easy to install. I'm able to shut off several devices that I used to leave constantly on by just shutting off my computer.Leatherman 830846 Skeletool Multitool

What I was looking for...
This is a great tool that doesn't cause your pants to fall off when it is in your pocket like their regular tools (also great, but too heavy).Excelent Utilitarian Multitool
This is a really nice tool. It's several ounces lighter than any other multi-tool with comparable features, and very well designed at that. My favorite feature (sadly) is the bottle opener. Every other multi tool I've seen has a small flat bottle opener, which is only used when absolutely necessary. The Skeletool has a very functional opener, and with it's overall slim profile, which hooks nicely inside my jean's pocket, it's the first thing I reach for when cracking open a cold one. The outside knife is also very handy, and comes surprisingly sharp (have the cut thumb to prove it). I didn't find it overly tight at first, and after a few dozen openings it did make it more smooth. It also locks very nicely, and feels very solid once opened. There's no noticeable wobble unless excess force is applied side to side. The cut-out makes it very easy to flick open. The slight curve in the body makes for a very comfortable hold when the knife is extended, and feels very solid. The universal bit screw driver works well when one side of the body is opened, however you cannot use it when the body is collapsed. I do wish they had found two places to stach extra bits instead of only one, which could have let them extend the recepticle for the driver bits and make the driver usable while the body is closed. Oh, well. The pliers work well, no spring action, though maybe a little wide at the tip. This likely adds strength, so I'm not complaining, but a more needle like profile would be nice (I might try grinding down the tip a bit). TAKE NOTE: The plyer head is NOT stainless, and if get it wet with salt water it will rust QUICKLY. I accidentally took in into the ocean while fishing, and the next day it was difficult to open. The blade also became very difficult to flick open and for a couple days I had to use two hands to open the blade. This was solved however by a little gun oil and loosening the torq screws ever so slightly, then working the pivots back and forth repeatedly. Everything opens fine now, however there are still rust spots on the plyer head in the coarse ground areas. This was my stupidity however, and not the tools fault. Steel and salt water don't mix. It would have gotten 5 stars except that I felt it lacked one useful feature; A file. I can see several places they could have incorporated a file, even if in the outer handle structure. Maybe even on the side of the blade. If it had a file, it would have gotten 5 stars. SUMMARY: A very good BASIC multi-tool. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of larger tools, so if you want saws and scissors and a fold-out BBQ grill, go with something else. If you want a bare bones, light weight EDC tool that fits in your pocket (relatively comfortably) this is it. Highly Recommended.Decent tool until it broke
I had the tool for a couple of months and thought it was a decent tool. It has all the good gadgets but the form could be better. The pliers are not as comfortable to use as I would hope - the screwdriver tip can dig into your hand. Anyway, I thought it was still okay until it failed when the pliers broke - more like shattered. I wasn't abusing them, but apparently I applied too much force. The pliers are really too thin at the joint. Turned out to be a waste of money for me. Now I have to pay to ship them to Leatherman and see what happens there.Sweet! needs a sheath
I bought the Skeletool and the additional bit pack for use in my hobby as a professional bass angler. High performance bass boats have all sorts of fasteners that tend to vibrate loose, not to mention the need to remove trolling motor prop nuts to clear the errant line from break-offs, tighten reel handle nuts, remove hooks from fish and a myriad of other little chores during a day on the water. I'm also a small wood working shop owner and have found a number of uses for this tool in the shop, especially with the extra bits. I have used many different multitools in the past from Leatherman, Gerber, SOG, Remington and they've all had their pro's and con's but this tool seems to shine at more of the little work-a-day annoyances that come up when you're away from the toolbox. With the optional extra bit pack you won't have to chase those specialty screwdrivers (torx, square, star, allen)for every little loose fastener. I would have preferred that it came with a sheath just because I don't like pocket clips but I had an old sheath from a plier type tool that holds it securely in the open position, which is how I use it most frequently on the boat.Love my new Skeletool
This lightweight compact tool focuses on the four things that I need the most: knife, pliers, wire cutters, and screw driver. It feels solid during use, the knife locks safely and has a nice edge. The screw driver has interchangeable bits to handle all types of screws. With the built in clip I don't have to thread a sheath onto my belt, I clip it to anything with a loop.4 Piece Grabit Broken Bolt and Damaged Screw Exractors
